The word of God is powerful and sharper than any two edge sword, by it the earth was framed. In Part 1, I wrote that Life is not a straight line journey, it’s full of ups and downs. One time or the other in our life, we have been discouraged, been fearful and anxious, been tempted etc, Jesus said man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceed from the month of God – Matt 4:4. I have compiled another 10 encouraging words of God when issues of life arises.
1. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. Isa 43:19
2. He disappointeth the devices of the crafty, so that their hands cannot perform their enterprise. Job 5:12
3. And I will lead the blind in a way that they do not know, in paths that they have not known I will guide them. I will turn the darkness before them into light, the rough places into level ground. These are the things I do, and I do not forsake them. Isa 42:16
4. I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Psa 16:8
5. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof Psalm 46:1-3
6. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. Isai 43:2
7. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:26-28
8. Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Isa 41:10
9. And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed. Deut. 31:8
10. From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus. Gal 6:17
